To develop students' critical thinking on everyday financial challenges, we invite parents to encourage their children to join the HKJCFEP Financial Education Competition for Primary Students. This initiative lets students creatively apply classroom knowledge and share their insights. Open to P4 to P6 students, participants can enter individually or in teams of up to four. We look forward to their active participation and innovative ideas!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What is the content of the entries?
A: Participants need to create a financial guardian based on their chosen scenario and continue the story.

Q: If students are in sixth grade this school year, can they participate in the competition?
A: Yes. As long as the student is enrolled in a school participating in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Financial Education Programme (Programme A and B) this school year and has attended the relevant courses, they are eligible to enter. If the award-winning student will be in Form 1 next school year, the competition coordinator is responsible for inviting them and their parents to attend the awards ceremony.

Q: If a student chooses to create a comic, what paper can they use? Is there a template available?
A: Students can use any paper in A3 to A4 size, and the paper type is not restricted. For details, please refer to the Entry Format Requirements. Additionally, students can download a comic template to unleash their creativity!

Q: Who selects the awards?
A: The organizer will choose the intra-school awards from the entries submitted by schools and will further select works for the final judging, where the judges will determine the winners of the inter-school awards.
